Specialized charts for
Rich Internet Applications
Highly interactive charts for a
rich reporting experience
PowerCharts Drag-able charts are a specialized form of conventional column, line and area charts. You can visually edit the values of the plotted data simply by dragging the data plots. Drag-able charts are meant to be used as interactive planning tools, as they allow for visual editing of plotted values and submission of the modified data back to server.

Make any data point drag-able
Any number of columns or anchors can be made drag-able. So you can easily create a chart where some values are fixed and some can be edited by the end user. To highlight the editable data points, you can show them with a dashed border

Snap to Div
You can introduce a certain degree of stickiness into the dragging feature by using Snap to Div. When Snap to Div is used, the columns (or anchors) will snap to the nearest divisional line when the end user stops dragging

Directly increase/decrease chart limits
Want to drag the column to a value higher than what the chart's upper limit is? Simply click on the chart upper limit, set it to a higher value and go about your dragging business

Smart Chart Limit Increase/Decrease
Don't want to change your chart limits to random values and have weird numbers on your divisional lines? Use the "Increase/Decrease Limit option" from the context menu and change your chart limits to smart pre-calculated values

Send modified data back to server
The modified chart doesn't just stay on screen. You can submit the modified data back to the server through JavaScript functions or as emulated FORM submission

Restore to original state
What if the user drags the column to a wrong value? Or changes the chart limits incorrectly? Don't punish him for his mistakes. Give him the Restore button. Just one click and he gets back the original chart
