Spline Chart
Spline charts are specialized forms of conventional line and area charts. Unlike conventional charts which connect data points with straight lines, a Spline chart draws a fitted curve through the data points. They can be used as an alternative to ordinary line or area charts, but are used more specifically for plotting data that requires the use of curve fittings e.g. Impulse-response chart, product life cycle chart etc.
