Interactive Legend

In charts having more than one series of data, a legend is shown to tell the user what each series of data represents. The user can click on the icon for a data series to hide it and focus on the other series. For example, when you are displaying sales comparison on a chart for multiple years, the user might want to focus only on the recent years, so he can hide the earlier years. This allows him to have complete control over the data he wants to analyze, yet having the complete picture.

The legend is also displayed in the pie chart (the only single-series chart to have it), where the user can click on an icon slice out the respective data set.

You would have noticed that the legend uses the same icon as the dataset. The legend has a column icon for a column dataset, a line icon for a line dataset and the like, and with the exact color of the dataset as well.
