Hi experts,

I am working with the evaluation version of Fusion Gadgets. (Along with Fusion Charts Free javascript class)

I am trying to have a Cylinder Gauge charts which animates when I change its value, rather than re-render itself.

I have tried using simple setDataXML with new FusionChart as well as setDataXML with getChartFromId. Both didn't have the required result.

Is it actually possible to have an "animated" Cylinder gauge, or need I look into other charts? What options do I have if I don't want the chart to require a xml on the server.

Kind regards

Yes - you can have an animated cylinder gauge that animates from last point. Please use the JavaScript API to update only value, instead of entire XML. You may find it at http://www.fusioncharts.com/gadgets/docs/Contents/SVGauge_JS.html
