Hi,
We are currently evaluating FC and would like to know if the following is possible.
1. Once a swf file is loaded with an initial data set (set via dataXML method), is there a way to get new data every 5 seconds or so? Maybe an option within the xml file, that looks something like
live_update url='pcs.xml' delay='2'
2. If the above feature is available, and the data set is large, is there a way to progressively load new data as it appears. In other words, I dont want to reload existing data sets, but only the new ones.
I am assuming this is something most people would look for in a charting tool..no? Please let me know.
Thank You,
V

Thank you for the reply. Would appreciate an answer to my question on large data sets and support for progressive load.

Hi,
In FusionCharts, we cannot load progressive data. The XML data is loaded at once, parsed, processed and then rendered as a chart.
Thanks, Pallav Nadhani FusionCharts Team
