I can update the dial value. I don't know if this is just the way it works or not. I would like to use the datastream option to update the dial, trendpoints and annotations in realtime, instead of having to use the setdataurl, since it redraws the entire gauge.
Anyone know how to get this to work or is it a not yet implemented function???

You can just update the value - not trend points.
