Using ASP.NET 2.0 and FusionCharts v3, I am successfully rendering a chart in an asp:panel inside an update panel.  When I click on the chart to drilldown, however, after the browser gets its reply and works on the drilldown chart, it generates 5-6 Javascript errors during the process.  Exiting the page generates one more such error.

I eventually discovered that my setting "registerWithJS=True" was involved in the problem, because as soon as I set "registerWithJS=False" the problem went away.

I'm do not currently have any Javascript methods that fire upon a chart's loading or rendering, so that's a reasonable short-term fix.  However, our charting requirements are growing, so I would like to fix the problem.  Can anyone help?

My environment:  FusionCharts v3, ASP.NET 2.0, Visual Studio 2005, Visual Basic, IE 7.0 (with update 3283), IIS with XP SP 2.

I am having the same trouble.  Did you get a solution?

I am using .NEt 3.5 VS 2008 with 7.0.5730.13 IE version.

This error does *not* happen in mozillas firefox.

Help is greatly appreciated as our requirements are growing as well...

Hi,

I am afraid, FusionCharts does not get registered in IE if ASP.NET.AJAX framework is used.

Hi,

We are happy to announce that we have developed a bug fix for this. Could you please download the fixed DLL from this attached file?

Hi,

You just need to make a Bin folder in your project and add reference to this new FusionCharts.dll.
