For example, population density and crime rate. States should be colored according to population density, and also patterned (dots, grids, lines etc) for crime rate.<br>(I know I can play with tooltips and markers, but I am required to provide this exact visual representation).<br><br>My plan is as follows:<br>With Flash, alter the .swf to have two identical maps with the same coordinates.<br>Color one map; fill with patterns the second one.<br>Make the patterned map transparent. <br><br>The problem I have is how to fill states with patterns and not colors.
