I have a couple of questions about the appearance of various objects:

Is there a way of rendering the process label onto two lines?

Is there a way of setting the width of this process column? It states in the docs that there is an attribute width for the <processes> element but this doesn't work.

And finally, can you set individual heights for the processes rows (not the tasks themselves)? For example set the height of Process 1 to 100px (or 20%) and the height of Process 2 to 200px (or 40%).

Many thanks in advance.

Dave

Gannt Chart Help

Can some help for assigning alpha to the task in gannt chart.
the property is available as mentioned in the help index.. but its not working.

Real Time Area Chart

I have a question i am using the real time area chart put it just shows the shape. But because components are reused in flex, the data is not refreshed to collapse and expand the branch. If I call the method FCRender () in the event "show" of the itemrenderer this becomes very slow.

Any suggestions to optimize this?

Here a sample code.

This is the itemRenderer:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<mx:HBox xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" horizontalAlign="center" verticalAlign="middle" xmlns:ns1="com.fusionwidgets.components.*" show="showWidget()">
<ns1:FusionWidgets id="widget" height="20" width="250" visible="false" />
<mx:Script>
<![CDATA[
import mx.states.RemoveChild;
import mx.events.FlexEvent;
import com.fusionwidgets.components.FusionWidgets;

override public function set data(value:Object):void {
super.data = value;
//only for leafs
if(value != null&&!value.hasOwnProperty("GroupLabel")) {

widget.height=(data.xmlData)?data.chartHeight:20;
widget.FCChartType=data.chartType;
widget.FCDataXML=data.xmlData;

widget.visible=true;
}
else
{
widget.visible=false;
}

}
private function showWidget():void{
trace("inShowEvent");
widget.FCRender();
}

]]>
</mx:Script>
</mx:HBox>

This is the code in the Application:

<mx:AdvancedDataGrid id="adg1" designViewDataType="flat" width="95%" height="95%" initialize="gc.refresh()" disclosureClosedIcon="@Embed(source='assets/plus20.png')" disclosureOpenIcon="@Embed(source='assets/minus20.png')" folderClosedIcon="{null}" folderOpenIcon="{null}" defaultLeafIcon="@Embed(source='assets/arrowrightblue20.png')" variableRowHeight="true" styleName="MyDataGrid" >
<mx:dataProvider>
<mx:GroupingCollection id="gc" source="{arrData}">
<mx:grouping>
<mx:Grouping>
<mx:GroupingField name="first"/>
<mx:GroupingField name="second"/>
<mx:GroupingField name="third"/>
</mx:Grouping>
</mx:grouping>
</mx:GroupingCollection>
</mx:dataProvider>
<mx:columns>
<mx:AdvancedDataGridColumn dataField="grouping" headerText="First/Second/Third/Some" wordWrap="true" paddingLeft="5" paddingRight="5"/>
<mx:AdvancedDataGridColumn dataField="some" headerText="Some" width="160" textAlign="center" minWidth="160"/>
<mx:AdvancedDataGridColumn headerText="Graphic" width="260" itemRenderer="MyFusionWidgetsItemRenderer" />

</mx:columns>
</mx:AdvancedDataGrid>

Angular Gauge doesn't update when clicking on new link

I have a meny where different charts are showns. I have found that I can center the gauge itself by setting gaugeOriginX="50%" and gaugeOriginY="50%". But, I cannot figure out how to center the annotations to move along with the gauge when the area is resized.

The only thing I can think to do is, on a resize event, determine the new width and height and modify the chart XML <annotationGroup> xPos and yPos attributes to center the annotations programmatically. The question now is...... can I use fusionchart to create the xml required for the FustionWidgets.

There are some nice widgets, especially the real time updating etc, that I like to use. If I can use the code generated by fusionchart for dreamweaver and replace the, lets say the swf file to show the widget that would nice.

Does that make sense?

Please advice if I can do something like this.

H

How to give links in Spark Column Charts

Hi,

I can give links on most of charts but not in Spark Column Charts? i need to give links for each columns in the Spark Column Charts. See the screenshot below.

This is driven from the database and allows our users to see graphically what is going on in the yard. I could not be happier with the way this is turning out! Thanks!

I have a couple questions: (I have been through the docs and don't see how I might handle these items)

1. You will notice on the png below that there are horizontal and vertical parking spaces on the yard. The horizontal slots are easy to label as you can see. The vertical slots are different. Is there a way to display text vertically on the drawing pad? (I see this on many of the other charts and graphs.

2. Can I make something in the annotation a link? I have it setup so that we can hover over a truck and it will provide whatever info we want in the tooltip (very cool!). Can I put a link in the tooltip?

Thanks for an excellent tool!

Scott

Discontinuous time in X-axis?

My datapoints are not always evenly spaced, time wise. We would like to use the export functionality (export to pdf, jpeg, html) of the Gantt chart, as it worked fine with the trial version. But now with the Enterprise package it doesn't work. We tried the following:

- We extended the functionality of the original chart in the source and compiled it;

- Then we just simply compiled the original source;

- The we tried to use the Gantt.swf file (date: 2008.03.31, size: 80891 bytes) we found in the package.

Unfortunately, export didn't work in any of these cases.

Can someone help me find a solution?
