This is different from FusionCharts v3 Evaluation Pack.

In v3 charts you can set connectNullData='1' in <chart> element to connect the disconinuous data.

For more please refer to:

http://www.fusioncharts.com/docs/Contents/DiscData.html

From our Online Documentation >> Advanced Charting section's Plotting Discontinuous Data page.

This feature is available in "free evaluation version"* that you are using but not in FusionCharts Free charts (http://www.fusioncharts.com/free)

* The post might have placed in the wrong section.

RE: How to display discontinuous data

When you say it is not possible in FusionCharts Free, do you mean the free evaluation version? We are considering switching from our current product to this, but have been able to repeat the same issue: in a multiseries chart where not every data point shares the same date, the lines in a line chart are not continuous. Our much older charting package connects all the lines without a problem.

RE: How to display discontinuous data

Hi,

I am afraid, it is not possible in FusionCharts Free.

How to display discontinuous data

Hello,
I have data:

category | value1 | value2
2008-05 | 4 | 5
2008-06 | 7 | 9
2008-07 | - | 8
2008-08 | 8 | 5
2008-09 | 13 | 5

I'm using MSLine chart, but I can't connect points 2008-06 and 2008-08 for value1. it's possible to display discontinuous data and the chart will accurately reflect this? Is there an option in the multi-series line charts that will go ahead and draw the lines for gaps in the data?

Thanks for help
Maciej
