Gantt Chart problem with leap years?

I have scripted the gantt chart to be used in asp on my home web page. However i seem to be suffering from a problem with the leap year date Feb 29th. I have made my asp allocate columns at the top of the page for each day from the current day to 30 days time. When the gantt chart plots events before the first of march there is no problem. However events plotted on dates after the 29th feb seem a day out.

Could anyone verify this is indeed a fault in the gantt chart itself and not in my code? I am using the date functions within asp that are getting the correct dates from the system, and which take into account the leap year event. But it would seem that any event spanning this leap year day suffers and doesn't adjust correctly.

Would much appreciate any assistance.

Otherwise, my hat goes off to the developers for such a good app. Am very impressed with the software.

display chart in new browser window

i've created an application in asp.net,c# using fusion charts.

my requirement is " i want to display a perticular chart in new broser window ( on a button click )so that i can close it".

i am able to display in a new aspx page using response.redirect i.e i pass xml string to other page but in this method if i close .aspx page -> application will be closed.

i dont want that.

i want to close only that window and appliation need to active (live).

how can i do it.

plz tell me what code should i write to do it.

Dynamically adding yaxisminvalue & yaxismaxvalue with ASP

Hiya,

My apologies if this question has been answered somewhere in the technical docs/forum.
I have looked but maybe I was searching incorrectly with the wrong vocab or something.

I am using the Fusioncharts free version and the FCF_MSLine.swf flash file.

Bacically what I am trying to do is query my database to get the min and max values of the data for the yaxis.
Then I would append these values to the graph node like so:

yaxisminvalue='" & Min & "' yaxismaxvalue='" & Max & "'

When I view the source the values are appended correctly it seems (yaxisminvalue='1.165' yaxismaxvalue='1.299') but the chart seems to go from 0 to 1.299 instead of the range I would have expected.

Does anyone spot what I am doing wrong? It is bizarre, as though the values are not being read. I want to try and achieve a dynamic range to format the chart better and keep the data changing.

Auto Complete a Chart with Missing Months

Hi,

I am attempting to use FusionCharts v3 to output some data which is returned from the database into a Recordset called RS.

The Data is held the recordset as follows...

Month Year Counter
2 2006 10
3 2006 56
6 2006 32
1 2007 34

What I am trying to do is to get the chart to complete the missing months with a value of 0 to show that there was nothing for those months.

At the moment I am using a while loop to write out a strXML which is than passed to the chart, it works although I can't seem to find a way of filling in these missing dates.

Can you please help?

I've been using FusionCharts Free Gantt Chart in a ASP page and worked fine. Now the user would like to have this Gantt Programming Calendar in paper. I was wondering if it is possible or there is any way to take the Chart generated into a printable format.

Setting Transparency

I've written an ASP page which creates the XML and generates the chart. I would like to set the background of the chart to be transparent. So far I have not had any success. I tried several settings of the bgAlpha value. One question is what exactly does the value represent?

I also modified the RenderChart function in the FusionCharts.asp to include the following:

chart_<%=chartId%>.setTransparent("<%=strTransparent%>");

I set the strTransparent value to True

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

weird values to right of chart

I'm getting some weird values along the right side of my multi series bar charts....

At the right side of each dividing line is the label "NaNM"

Am I missing an option or something?

the 3d bar graph (and others) display the trendline amount on the left side (Y axis) of the graph this often interfers with the Y axis scale display is there a way to move the trendline value?

Hey everyone, I'm using Fusion Charts Free with C#, and I read somewhere that there is a property we need to add to the <object> tag that fixes the z-index problem, but I can't find that post again, what was the property that needed to be put in? How can I add this to my code if I'm using it with C#?

I use FusionCharts.RenderChartHTML to get my HTML for the chart.

Gantt Chart is not working in FireFox

We've got the Gantt Chart working fine in IE 7. But when using FireFox it doesn't show anything.
There is no error displayed as well.

Some few months back I integrated the FusionCharts Free into a web based application that has been used by my company for 3 years to present certain data to the user in a graphical form.

My problem is now that some few weeks back a company called me to say they wanted to buy my application, but as the FusionChart Free is now part of the system, I just wanted to confirm If I can sell my application with the Fusion chart facility with it or not, just need to confirm this as I dont want to break any copyright or IPR law for the fusion chart manufacturer.

A website link of some sort that can provide me with info relating to this would be well appreciated.
