Server Side PDF Export

Hello,

In my scenario i have to export PDF from the generated XML Data which will come from Store Procedure i got one solution but the whole code and logic is inside .aspx file means at the client side in which they had given a static xml file as well as a static file.

So can you give me solution in which xml file will be generated from server side and we will able to export in PDF with the help of server side code.

I Have one aspx page in which i am generating Fusion Chart.

As we all know Fusion Charts are generated in .swf file format.

Now i want to save that Chart in PDF format.

So i go through many things and did RND on that topic:)

yet i didn't found solution for the same

can any one give me solution for the same.

Y Axis scale is not consistent and some vaues are missing

Hi ,

As one can see in the above graph , I am using a free version of bar chart (FCF_Bar2D.swf) .

But some times the Y-Axis scale values are missing; in the above graph 2 and 5 are missing.

and also in some cases the chart renders Perfectly

I would like to have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.... (a consistent scale of values ) .

How can i achieve that ??

Database Diagram like control(chart) for ASP.Net

Hi All,

After some years I am back to FusionCharts with some unique requirements and expectations in mind.

I need a control or a chart which can display a diagram similar to the database diagram or class diagram.

I need it to be completely dynamic.
Meaning, I should be able to provide data to one box and on some event on that I need to feed data to other and so on.

Like we do in DB Diagram, I check 1 table and columns comes in other box, and then I can select columns and then filter on 1 of them... Something like that.

Any help or suggestion are welcome.

Hi again all,
this time I got an issue again about how to do drilldown operation in Fusioncharts that used in a windows form.
I find this refference that show to do drilldown in web application :

that basicly using querystring.,but, we can't do that in windows form application , do we?
So is there any workaround to do this? Or this is the limitation of using FusionChart in Windows Apps? ;)

Hi There,

I have a horizontal barchart. There is not much data in my site yet and when I open the page that shows the chart it shows vertical lines on the yaxis and 1 1 2 2 3 at the bottom of the chart.
When my bars show a count of 2 it shows the end of the bar in between the 2 2 vertical lines of the yaxis.
Is there a way to change this.

If my count is 2 surely it should show the end of the bar on the 2 yaxis.
I wish there was a way to show a screenshot as it would show exactly what I mean.

We are developing the travel website & we want to display of the lowest fare of all domestic airlines for one month on the single line chart.

Suppose we are making the chart for 1st July'10-31 July '10 for airfares between delhi to mumbai .What we want is the display of the lowest fare for July 1,July 2....till july 31 and that is plotted in the single line chart.Also the chart must dispay which the value of lowest airfare & the associated airline.

Can anybody help me out how to do the same,we have all the airlies XML API with us?

I more or less copied one of the first samples from the docs and it works fine on localhost as well as on a web server behind my firewall; but when I posted the code (simple copy) to a public web server (two of them actually) I get the following error response:

I developed a little tool with fusionchart free asp.net, it works perfect! Now I want to put it on a server but it allways give a compilation error "Name 'FusionCharts' is not declared"

The .dll file is in the bin folder and I just copied all my files on the server

FusionCharts.js causes AJAX to throw an error

Hello,

I'm trying to add Fusion chart to a page, that have some AJAX controls to load some parts asynchronously.
After just adding [b]FusionCharts.js[/b] and [b]FusionChartsDOM.js[/b] references, AJAX starting to throw an error in Internet Explorer 7:
[b]'__EVENTTARGET' is null or not an object[/b]

I'm using ASP.NET 2, .NET 3.5 with Visual Studio 2008.

Google Chrome for example works fine.

Is anybody else experienced such problem? Is there any fix?

HI , i am using mscombi2d.swf chart. In that i want to show x axis label in my own way like in this pattern, 0,10,13,17,20,30,35,40,43,50,60

The main problem is that distance between all the labels is maintained to be same ,i.e.,

suppose distance between 0 and 10 is 1 cm, then distance between 10 and 13 is also 1 cm and so on.I want these distance to be in maintained in there respective ratio.

Is this possible?and how?

I know this topic has been up a few times, but not sure about the solution though. I use FusionCharts Free on http and it works just fine. Now, when I switched over to https environment, there appear a message about loading not secure data from the graphs.

I load the data through FusionCharts.RenderChartHTML(..,strURL,..) and readed somewhere that I needed to use something about Pragma, but didn't really understand where I would fill those values. I'm using ASP.NET and fills the strURL through C# Code file onto an asp:Literal.

I have problem in displaying fusion chart. My code is here

In the source code i have given like this
since the js file is in scripts folder.

i have given reference to the dll file of fusion charts and addedd FCF_Column3D.swf in charts folder.

its just giving blank space in place of chart.

if i remove the code for this chart. the blank space is removed.

whats wrong i am doing???

I'm using the Multiseries 2DColumn graph.

I have a situation where 2 datasets shows values that mostly are about 0-10 each. This means that a lot of any of the datasets has the value 0. Which means no column at all. I think it's easiest to look at my screendump..

What I want is a layout that makes the "total width each day" more absolut (see my screendump)

I'm not able to get the color for the fusionchart displayed on my aspx page. I've gone through the documentation but nothing seems to work. I have showBorder='1' borderColor='6699CC' borderThickness='1' borderAlpha='50'. Please let me know what I'm doing wrong.

Hello!

I have a graphic in vb.net. For creating the chart it programs the example of the documentation, and I have a error:

"ERROR: Invalid number specified in XML. FusionCharts can accept number in pure numerical form only. If your number formatting (thousand and decimal separator) is different, please specify so in XML. Also, do not add any currency symbols or other signs to the numbers."

The graphic does not show all the bars..

How can i remove caption boldness,
if my chart has only 2 values on its x and y axis then the values on y axis are repeated.
Eg.
if i have values 1 and 2 for y axis then the y axis displays 1 1 2 2 3 (5 values). but if i increase the number of y - axis to (1 and 5) then values are displayed in correct order as 1 2 3 4 5.
Can u let me know the reason for this

Server Error in '/' Application

I'm running win server 2008 and asp.net 2.0 mode.

Fusioncharts/dll is registered in the web application in in the applications bin folder.

The application runs on a local VS 2008 debug/code environment but not whne the application is copied to the web server.

Any Ideas? thanks

Show blank after calling chart render function in Javascript function

I am have an xml datasource string as following:

I used a parameter strXml to store above xml data.

In the Javascript Function, I tried to render the chart and place it in the Div tag "chartDiv".

var myChart = new FusionCharts("/FusionCharts/FCF_Column2D.swf", "myChartId", "650", "300");

myChart.setDataXML(strXml);

myChart.render("chartDiv");

Then it comes out with the blank page.;)

I have crosschecked the path of the js setting, the path is correct. [refer to the post in Javascript category]

Do you see any problems from this approach?

I am using VS 2005, IIS6, Flash V10.

When I compiled the code from FusionChart Free package, everything works fine in my local machine.

After copying the web project to my testing machine with IIS 6 installed. The server always prompted:

Compiler Error Message: BC30451: Name 'FusionCharts' is not declared.

Source Error:

FCF_Gantt.swf does not display correctly

Hello, I am want to display a gantt graph, I am using an older version than FusionCharts v3.

Results that the code developed in C# with visual studio contains the dll of FusionCharts. It was

used to display pie charts and other stuff. And It works good.

My mission is to use the FCF_Gantt.swf to display a 24 hour schedule of some production lines.
