Setup FCFFM on SLServer and FMServer

Need to evaluate this but cannot get the install complete. Have a SL Server and FMServer (v11) and here are the questions:
Do I need to upload both fp7 files from Charts to FMServer?
Does the Chart folder need to go in my WebServer/Documents folder or can I put it anywhere?
Confused by the SetVariable function. If I put the path in the value it says there is no table with that name. Do I need to put it in quotes?

Need help with FusionCharts installation on Filemaker Server

I tried installing fusion charts on filemaker server 11, we have filemaker server on win 2003 sp2 machine, i followed step by step procedure given by fusion charts [url]http://www.fusioncharts.com/FileMaker/docs/Contents/FMServer.html[/url]. I get error if i try to access sample fusion charts hosted on filemaker server, i get windows doesn't recognize fmnet protocol message.
I have few questions:
1. Do i have to install Adobe Flash and enable java script on server machine where i installed filemaker server.
2. And in fusion charts document it says that to copy charts folder to webserver. As i am using IIS i copied to "C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\fc\Charts" is this same.
3. In doucument it says able to list documents, but i have restrictions by IIS where Directory Listing Denied "This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed."
I am accessing from filemaker client i.e. filemaker 11 pro.

SPLine and Line2D shows only 5 lines even though data values are 6.

Hi,
I have problem with lines in SPLine2D and Line2D, where it shows only max of 5 lines, but i need atleast 6 line to show in lines. and also chart doesn't take colors.
How many lines can i have for SPLine 2D or Line2D chart.I want a chart with atleast 6 lines.
I have included screen shots that can help solve this problem. Feel free to take a look at screen shots.
Your help is appreciated.

Conbination Charts with single Y Axis

I'm trying without success to get the a combination chart with a single Y axis to work. I could find no examples of these. I have tried lots of options including the one below. Any help on this would be most welcome.

Web viewer compared to script compared to calc fields

Hi there,

Up until now I have been simply putting all the code I use in the web viewer itself - and not bothered with scripting or with calculation fields

Is there any reason that I should not do it so that i do not know about? It is fast and saves me cluttering the table with fields.

Any advice greatly appreciated

i know fusionchart entreprise V3 and i'm interested in fusionchart for file maker

i've tested the démo on line but i dont find the possibility to change the tool text of tool tip as we can do it in enterprise V3

the tool tip is always name of colums and qty, and i would prefer the nim and max value of my database...

i ve tried

&labels=C01;C04;C05;

&data=50;100;100;

&toolText=100;100;150;

but it doe'nt work

the syntax in html of entreprise version is

how could i do the same in the fusionchart for file maker

Line colours

from the help file "If we want the entire line chart to be plotted in one color, set that color for this parameter. "

Is there no way to change the colour of each line ? _ have only 2 lines on the graph

I like the default light blue and orange - but the boss does not.

Vertical lead values

Hi there,

I have just started using these charts - very impressive -

A question - the numbers that run from bottom to top of chart on a line chart (I think are called "vertical lead") - how are they set ?
They seem to be set according to the data - but I would like to set them from say 0...30 (or any calculation reay)
I am also trying to set an average value on one of the line charts.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Cannot get Fusion engine to select the right chart file

Hi there,

I'm using the calculated field approach and I've created a database that is supposed to contain a 2D column chart. The first part of the querystring looks like this:

file:///Volumes/Kassad/Users/trevor/Desktop/Maturity_DB/Charts/FusionCharts.html?v=3&sep=;&chart=[chartType=MSColumn2D;chartWidth=800;chartHeight=640]......etc

The problem is that even though the MSColumn2D.swf file is in the right location nothing appears. However, if I rename it MSColumn3D.swf it works!!!!

If I change the ChartType to radar or one of the stacked bar types it works perfectly. However, if I try MSBar3D I get the same MSColumn3D chart as if I hadn't changed the ChartType!!

It seems to be that the Fusion engine is somehow using a different value to the querystring, or that there is a value somehow 'stored' somewhere.

Anyone seen anything like this before???

I'm using Filemaker 9 Advanced on OSX.

Single bar in bar chart.

I am trying to create a list layout with a bar chart with only one bar for each record.

John Smith Value 90 Bar_________________

A Jones Value 72 Bar_____________

G Brown Value 50 Bar________

etc.

The problem is I need a narrow 2DBar chart displaying only one column for each record, however when I make the web viewer slim it crops the bar chart. Also with only one bar on the bar chart, this column becomes very wide. I have tried changing the chart widths/hieghts, padding margins and column spacing but without success. Can you help?

yAxisMinvalue not responding, help!

I need your help on this one, it's puzzling me ...! The field below, which comprises as "constant" must of the parameters to form the FC URL, renders fine if there are specific, constant values in the yMaxValue and yMinValue parameters. However, if I try to define the values by a calculation field (within the same table), the graph DOES NOT render well. The yMaxValue attribute is respected, but the [b]yMinValue is ignored[/b].

I have read elsewhere in this forum, that there is a glitch if there are missing y values in the series. I have tried a one to one match; x to y values, but that haven't worked neither.

I am using the Fusion Charts for File Maker paid version. I would very much appreciate any help you may provide.
