'FusionMaps' - Doesn't works after publishing

I am getting this error when I placed my CODE on a IP that's accessible to VLAN IP. The code works just fine when i run it from my local machine. Am i missing some files that I have no uploaded on the Virtual Directory?

Wisconsin County Map - Link Counties to PDF file using HTML

Hi All,

I'm having trouble with an HTML page using javascript to create a new map of FCMap_Wisconsin.swf and having each county link to a file.

This works great if i'm using my localhost web server but it doesn't work as just an HTML page. What am i missing?!?

Here's my HTML code:

Combining U.S. Counties

I am brand new to fusionmaps. My company uses geographical boundaries that are defined based on multiple U.S. counties.

Is there a way to join multiple counties so they appear as one entity? For instance if you pull up the county map of Virginia, in the northern-most part we have one entity that contains the counties: FD, WT, CK, SH, WA, PA, RP and FU. (see attachment). Rather than displaying all the separate counties I'd like to display these customized boundaries. Let me know if this is possible.

Hi,

I get trying the example of FusionMaps names "DB_Drill"...but I get "Msg error" about "Detailled.php" page like this:

"Notice: Undefined variable: QUERY_STRING in C:\wamp\www\SUPER MANAGER 3.0\admin\Detailed.php on line 105"

Can somebody helps me?

Hi,
this is my first post so please bare with me.. ;)
i am using US and counties maps in my application. Is it possible to change the dimensions of the map without increasing the background size?
eg. given the dimensions 900 x 900 the size of the entire map is 900 x 900 but actual county map is much smaller in size leaving most of the space blank.
PFA image. in this image the gray area is bigger than the actual county map. i want this gray area to be utilized by increasing the size of the map so that the map becomes readable.

I am trying to make the Italy charts work, but unfortunatelly I have some problem, whatever I put in the xml I cannot see anything in the map other than the standard data ( region names ).
Can I have a basic xml example with a city name, a marker and some data to show?

Javascript drill down link problem

Hi,

I need to be able to click on a country e.g. USA on the world map and drill down to the USA map showing all states.

In my xml i can of course put a normal link to a separate page as in the demo. BUT, i need to do a postback to the SAME page and update an asp.net updatepanel and display the new map, to avoid a page refresh.

Currently i have this setup in my xml, which is not working. the link does not cause a postback:

this method works on a normal asp.net page, the __doPostback('updatepanelID','') is a trick to update an updatepanel from control/html control on a page. Normal one would use onclick="javascript:_doPostBack.." etc but i believe we cannot add an onclick event to the link attribute?

Please could someone help/explain why the map countries are not clickable using the above links.

Change entity background color by "clicking" on entity

Hi there,

I am going to embed a map on a page. The thing is that all the entities are of the same background color. I am using as well a hoverColor (different from backgound one) for the entities (the same hoverColor for all). The idea is to link the click on an entity with a combo and that I want the hoverColor to stay as new backgound color for that entity. In a phrase I want to change entity background color by "clicking" on that entity.

I am using negative margin values to zoom in on my map. I would like to do the following:
I have a 300 by 400 map. I would like to remove 25% off the right hand side, 20% off the left hand side, 10% off the top, and 5% off the bottom. What should I set the margins to? Can you give me a detailed example of these calculations?

Remove small black line and entity name

Hi,

I would like to remove the line between a country and the country name (Ex: http://www.fusioncharts.com/maps/Demos/AJAX/Index.html , line for DC, MD, DE). I can actually remove the name (with displayValue = ' ') but this line still showing up.
Is there a way to do that or those lines are included in the basic flash file?

Multiple values for Counties

Hey Everyone,

I am very new to FusionMaps and what I am trying to do is to show multiple values for each county in a state. For instance, I might have two totals for one county ie: County1 = val1(4,321) + val2(5,432) - I then want to display both these values and then have the county change color to represent the higher value. So if the higher value is val2 I want the county to turn red. If the higher value is val2 - I want the county to be blue. Any suggestions??

I would like to use color ranging in some maps, like the way you have used in example of Costumer Satisfaction using USA Map (In Trial Version).

But unfortunately when i tried same thing for other graphs it doesn't shows up. only the Legend is shown.

I have cross checked all the values also...

Could you please help me on this...
