Why this book?

FusionCharts started a decade back from a shared bedroom as a quest for more pocket money. Since then, we have come a long way to become a company that has 21,000 customers and 450,000 developers in 118 countries, powers more than a billion charts per month and does $7M in annual revenues.

And when we turned ten this October, we thought we had a sweet story to tell you. An unconventional one, too. So here we are telling you about the decade-long trials and tribulations of a company founded by a 17-year old with no business knowledge whatsoever and in a country not exactly known for its software products.

Read it and you'll agree that it indeed is not just another pie in the sky.

What should I expect from the book?

A fun and inspiring read that takes you from cover to cover in an hour. There are the lessons we learnt along the journey, the mistakes we made and those hilarious stories that will keep us entertained for the rest of our lives. Here, whet your appetite.

  • FusionCharts wasn't the first product to come out from the FusionCharts stable
  • We made a loss on our first sale
  • Free marketing campaigns have done more marketing for us than traditional marketing campaigns
  • We got to 10,000 customers without a single dedicated salesperson on the team
  • Barack Obama uses FusionCharts

Sanket Nadhani. a quarter century old, he loves his food, beer and traveling. He shared the very bedroom where FusionCharts was founded by a 17-year old, and brings a firsthand account of the story. He was a part of the story too, heading Marketing & Sales at FusionCharts from 2009 to 2011, before he gave in to his mind's urge to expand horizons and left for the Himalayas in a search for answers to simpler things like the soul and meaning of life.
