FusionCharts Launches Flutter Integration: 2026 News

Flutter is a multi-device user interface (UI) framework promoted by Google and used as a toolkit for crafting beautiful, natively compiled mobile, web, and desktop applications from a single codebase.

Based on the Dart programming language, Flutter is one of the best solutions for building a single source app for Android, iOS, and desktop platforms – which is why FusionCharts is working on a Flutter integration in its upcoming release of v3.19.x, to help its customers in merging the best of both solutions with one streamlined connector solution.

What is Flutter-FusionCharts?

Flutter/Dart code can be easily integrated with consumer applications and help the end user with its stateful widgets. The Flutter-FusionCharts plugin provides a Flutter interface which integrates with FC’s Core JavaScript library and HTML assets using WebView, so all the work is handled by the code itself, with very minimal effort on the developer side.

What does Flutter-FusionCharts do?

The Flutter-FusionCharts plugin allows you to easily add rich and interactive charts, gauges, maps and dashboards to any Flutter project. You can create visualizations which are mobile friendly and highly interactive (drill-downs, live data updates) as well as leverage extensive API connectivity and full exporting of charts and dashboards.

Some benefits made available by the Flutter-FusionCharts plugin include:

1. Cross-platform development: Flutter helps developers to write code that works on different platforms while using the same UI codebase that is fully shareable, helping make maintenance of a single codebase easier and less complex than managing different codes for different platforms.

2. Faster coding: Code changes can be viewed faster and without having to compile, hastening the development workflow considerably – and all without needing to restart the application, saving you time and money.

3. Pre-built Flutter widgets: One of Flutter’s main advantages is it provides access to many pre-built widgets which can be leveraged and integrated into your application immediately, saving you time and resources that would otherwise be spent on having to build custom widgets.

…and much more.

The Flutter/FC plugin is fully open-source and maintained by a group of dedicated developers. You can learn more about the plugin by visiting our GitHub Flutter-FusionCharts page, or read our getting started with Flutter/FC guide.
