Real-Time Stacked Column Part of FusionWidgets XT
A real-time stacked column 2D chart is used to compare the cumulative magnitude of multiple data categories in real-time data is updated automatically at fixed intervals by getting new data from the server, without any page refreshes. The chart is rendered with columns belonging to multiple categories of data, with respect to a single quantity, stacked on top of each other. An icon legend is rendered at the bottom of the chart to map data plots to their corresponding data categories; the icons can be clicked to show/hide data plots. This chart can be used to compare data like the number of live visitors on two websites, updated after regular intervals of time.
Best Practices :
- Ensure that the data in one frame is enough so that it doesn't affect readability.
- Ensure that the interval between subsequent refreshes is chosen appropriately, based on what data the chart is showcasing.
- Use contrasting colors for data sets for greater clarity.
- Make the chart scale large enough to view group sizes in relation to one another.
